Maternity session can be done at a outdoor location or in home. 

Newborn session is done in the comfort of your own home.

3, 6, 9 and cake smash session are done in studio.

You can choose to upgrade to Deluxe Cake Smash at time of booking cake smash. 

 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO TAKE NOTE OF

* Turn around time is 2 weeks and 3 weeks for Newborn session. 

​

​* Images are chosen at the discretion of the photographer. No RAW or unedited images will be given on your final gallery or DVD. 
 

*Additional digital images can be purchased for $25 a image.

 

*When sharing images by Melanie De Souza Photography no alterations are to be made to the images such as cropping, removing watermark, adding filters or any other changes. 

 

*Photographer is willing to travel outside of Acton & Milton for an additional travel fee. 

 

*No outside cameras are to be used during the session. 

 

*Deposits are taken to secure your session time and date and are non refundable. The remainder of the session fee is due at time of the session. Once the deposit is paid your session is officially booked. 

 

*Arrive on time or it will cut into your session. 

 

*If we are communicating via email and dates/times are provided for booking purposes you have 24hours to confirm if you would like that session time slot. Otherwise the time slot is up for grabs.

​

* Birthday and Cake Smash sessions are designed for the birthday boy or girl. If you would like to add family members there is an additional fee for a extra set up, time and members. 

 

* The deposit is non refundable and non transferable. 

 

*If a retake is required for reasons out of the photographers hands (i.e. people squinting, not smiling, members of the session not cooperating.) There will be a fee to retake the session. Fee is decided on the type of session and amount of members in the session.

 

* Online gallery is for choosing your images and downloading once images are chosen.  

 

*Same images with low resolution and watermark are added to your DVD for for sharing on social media. 

​

*Online gallery is up for 3 weeks unless requested for a longer period.

 

*Newborn sessions are best to take place within 3 to 10 days of babies grand entrance. Contact for booking during your second trimester.

*Newborn sessions take place during the week. If you would like a weekend time slot there is an additional fee. 

​

*There is a option to have a newborn session in your home with the use of props. There is a extra fee. This option is great if your new bundle has older siblings that might not want to stick around for the session. 

​

*Outdoor sessions take place either early in the morning or in the evening, also known as Golden Hour
